I was trying to upload some of Madison's current pictures on the computer and everytime I pull out the camera, she smiles and says "deese". Its pretty funny. Here are some of her recent snapshots...
In this one, her cousin, Nyeemah stole the spotlight. LOL!
This toddler stage has been pretty tough. I bought Madison some big girl underpants think that if he had on underwear, she would be able to better feel the "wet sensation." I also bought the rubber pants to catch whatever comes out. Well, 2 days ago, I put them on her and she was walking around as if nothing was going on. I decided to check her and found that she had done a number 1 and 2! She then looks at me and says, "Pee-Pee?" Ugh! I hope that I don't have to change too many of thoses. It was quite disgusting. I figure if I start training early, I can take my time and be patient with the whole process.
She has also become afraid of everything. She screams when I wash her hair, she screamed when the doctors were trying to get her height and weight, she even screamed when I was putting the rubber pants on her. If anyone has any suggestions on breaking her from this, I am all ears.
Oh yeah, she also will not each these delicious Chicken Tenders that I made for her. I think the texture is new to her and that is why she didn't like them, but I did. Here is the recipe. Enjoy!
Panko Crusted Chicken Tenders
2 Chicken Breast Cut into Strips
1 Cup of Panko Bread Crumbs
2 Eggs beatened
Salt
Pepper
Cooking Spray
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a baking or sheet pan with cooking spray. Season Chicken strips with salt and pepper. Put bread crumbs into a bowl and beat egg in a separate bowl. First dip the strips into the egg and then roll them into the panko and put onto the baking pan. Cook chicken tenders for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with honey mustard or bbq sauce.
